True You Cosmetics (TYC), a new beauty brand, has launched its new lip color collection, Iconic. Heavily inspired by the beauty and style of old Hollywood favorites, such as Marilyn Monroe and Josephine Baker, the Iconic Lip Color Collection features an assortment of long-lasting and buildable colors. Jessica Truesdale, the 22 year old CEO and creative director,also tells the story of her own beauty genealogy through her cosmetic line which includes three generations of beauty business mavens. Iconic is a collection of buildable colors featuring six super-hydrating lipsticks, six weightless lip glosses and two trendy lip palettes consisting of three fun colors. Truesdale states, “Old Hollywood favorites, such as Ava Gardner and Lena Horne paved the way for actresses and singers of today. It was the elegance, sophistication, and boldness that these women embodied that inspired the theme for our first collection.” She continues, “We are so excited to bring you our introductory lip color collection…Iconic.
